Production Intern
Frogster has focused on the high growth sector of massively multiplayer online games (MMOs) from early on. The Frogster group is a Berlin-based international publisher of online games which licenses, markets and operates its virtual worlds for millions of players in Europe, North America and Oceania. With its top title, ‘Runes of Magic’, Frogster has won numerous awards such as the German Developers’ Award, the BÄM award and the title of ‘Online role-playing game of the year 2009’. At its offices in Berlin and San Francisco, the Frogster group employs more than 200 staff members in the fields of licensing, IT, web design/development, product management, business development, marketing, PR, community management, customer support, hosting, sales, billing, and finance/administration. At its head office, four floors covering around 2,000 square metres house an international team who are working on new high-quality game projects such as TERA, Eligium – The Chosen One, and RaiderZ.
We are looking with immediate effect for a:
Production Intern (f/m)
Are you interested in computer games and especially in online games? Then we can offer you an exciting job with Frogster Online Gaming GmbH in Berlin that covers a wide range of activities. You will support our Production team and, after familiarising yourself with the job, gradually take on your own responsibilities.
Overview of Your Responsibilities:
- Working with the Production team to complete all tasks and projects which arise
- Supporting content production (screenshots, wallpapers, content sites, newsletters, etc.)
- Intensive training in product features and details, game testing
- Documentation and organisation of correspondence, reports, telephone calls, and communication with partners and other departments (via email, Messenger, etc.)
Your Requirements:
- Keen interest in computer and video games
- Comprehensive experience with various MMORPGs spanning several years
- Creative ideas for in-game videos, screenshots, etc.
- Experience using programs such as Messenger as well as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions, willingness to take on responsibility
- Dedication, flexibility, organisational skills
- Very strong language abilities in English and German (written and spoken)
- Communication skills and ability to work in a team
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the gaming industry, possibly including work and/or editorial experience in the field
