Community Management Intern Poland
Frogster has focused on the high growth sector of massively multiplayer online games (MMOs) from early on. The Frogster group is a Berlin-based international publisher of online games which licenses, markets and operates its virtual worlds for millions of players in Europe, North America and Oceania. With its top title, ‘Runes of Magic’, Frogster has won numerous awards such as the German Developers’ Award, the BÄM award and the title of ‘Online role-playing game of the year 2009’. At its offices in Berlin and San Francisco, the Frogster group employs more than 200 staff members in the fields of licensing, IT, web design/development, product management, business development, marketing, PR, community management, customer support, hosting, sales, billing, and finance/administration. At its head office, four floors covering around 2,000 square metres house an international team who are working on new high-quality game projects such as TERA, Eligium – The Chosen One, and RaiderZ.
We are looking with immediate effect for a:
Community Management Intern Poland (f/m)
Are you interested in computer games and especially in online games? Then we can offer you an exciting internship with Frogster Online Gaming GmbH in Berlin that covers a diverse range of activities. You will support the work of our Community Managers and gradually take on your own assignments.
Overview of Your Responsibilities:
• Supporting Community Management in all tasks and assisting with projects
• Conception and implementation of contests and events (in-game and on the website)
• Supporting the community on internal and external forums
• Supporting fan and guild sites, as well as establishing and maintaining contacts (quality assurance, game testing etc.)
• Documentation of correspondence, reports and communication with partners (via email, Messenger etc.)
• Independent creation of news articlesYour Profile:
• Years of in-depth experience with a variety of MMORPGs
• Keen interest in computer and video games
• Experience with forum moderation and administration
• Good knowledge of Frogster’s current product portfolio
• Experience with content management systems
• Native Polish speaker
• Very good written and spoken German
• A team player
• Experience with programmes such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Messenger etc.
• Dedication, flexibility, good organisational skills
• Independent working style with an ability to follow instructions and take on responsibility
